We are currently engaged with a client seeking a Data Architect on a consulting to full time, direct hire basis. In this role, the Data Architect will:
Responsible for transforming complex business structures, processes and activities into technical architectures, models, & diagrams.
Design, develop and support scalable, high performance enterprise DW/BI applications and data repositories, metadata repository and data governance related applications.
Define data architecture standards, establish best practices for data management/ETL/metadata.
Lead and mentor DW team on database/application design, data modeling.
Provide integration vision and direction across various platforms.
The appropriate individual will have the following
Experience:
Data Warehouse Architecture.
Extensive database modeling (Erwin), design, development and maintenance.
Strong SQL.
Hands-on ETL experience using Informatica.
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Master Data Management and Data Governance experience is desirable.
Big Data & Netezza desirable.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
Solid project leadership skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
