Catering Specialist - Miami At all times the employee is to conduct himself or herself in the utmost professional manner whether they are dealing with internal or external customers. Take orders over the phone in a friendly, courteous manner and accurately enter them into the computer. Participate in Customer Events as required, performing menu presentations and tastings. Selling, servicing and communicating with Customers and accurate, timely follow-through with attention to details. Responsible for pricing and costing orders. Safely operate company vehicles and drive in compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations. Manage last minute changes to orders by the clients with a smile and pleasant demeanor. Obtain various supplies as directed if making del
iveries or upon return to base. Approach and handle all customer issues with a mentality of maintaining long-term relationships with each client. Meet weekly with the General Manager to ensure our standards and procedures are accurately reflected in their day-to-day operations. All other duties as assigned by the General Manager REQUIREMENTS Strong phone or face-to-face customer service experience in the aviation, food services, or hospitality industry is essential, culinary experience preferred Must have demonstrated ability to manage and maintain customer accounts, as well as attention to detail and experience as an order manager College degree preferred. Prior knowledge of aviation terminology, FDA Regulations and food handling preferred The Catering Specialist must have an excellent driving record, and be able to pass a security clearance and pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
