USFL Description In this role you will manage the vehicle, signal, and track maintenance for the commuter rail facility while acting as a leadership role model through change management and promoting culture and behaviors that support the creation of world class maintenance facilities.
In your role you will:
:
Develop and monitor the effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs on Vehicle and Maintenance of Way (MOW) equipment.
:
Coordinate trouble:
shooting and emergency repair efforts of Vehicles and MOW equipment.
:
Participate in budget setting and forecast departmental and capital needs.
:
You will have the opportunity to work with local project teams, at all levels, to develop integrated supporting management processes/procedures.
:
Direct the maintenance department and develop staff through mentorship, training and Performance Management Process of goal setting and feedback.
Qualifications :
You possess a minimum of 10 years of Maintenance of Way (MOW) experience; :
You have proven leadership experience in a supervisor or manager level role; :
You have a strong knowledge of 49 CFR 213 and 214, and an understanding of 49 CFR 236.
