oAssist in ensuring the Company remains in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements which include oPerform and/or oversee compliance audits of operations designed to assess compliance with Company policies and procedures and make recommendations related to efficiency, internal control improvements, and industry best practices oPerform and/or oversee special projects for senior management, such as fraud detection and prevention, ad-hoc projects, etc.
oMaintain the highest standards, both ethical and professional oReview technical publications, pronouncements, articles and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in the industry oSupervise up to two professional auditors to ensure the department's goals and objectives are carried out in a well controlled environment oTrain and develop employees; plan, assign and direct work; complete performance appraisals, reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve personal issues oAssists with the Continuous Auditing / Monitoring program including data collection, analysis, and cycle reviews oPrepares Audit Reports, the results of our audits, including observations noted, recommended action items and proper and timely implementation of such action items by the relevant departments Qualifications Requirements:
oBachelors degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance oMinimum 2-4 years related experience including relevant internal controls audit and testing, operations risk management, internal audit, or public accounting oMust possess passport or other documentation which will allow unlimited travel into and out of the U.
S.
oSarbanes-Oxley Knowledge:
Must possess experience in establishing/monitoring internal controls as part of complying with the laws and regulations of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 oAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents oAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community oAbility to write reports for distribution to senior management that conform to prescribed style and format oEffectively present information to senior management, public groups, and/or external auditors oWork with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference oApply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations oInterpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables oAbility to apply internal auditing standards, procedures and techniques oProficiency in accounting principles and techniques oAbility to recognize and evaluate the materiality and significance of deviations from good business practice oMust be able to travel up to 20% of the time, including trips abroad Preferences:
oMaster's Degree (MBA or Masters in Accounting) oBig 4 accounting firm or Fortune 500 experience oProfessional Certifications (CPA, RMA, CIA, CFE) oWorking knowledge of accounting systems; Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft PowerPoint, JDE financial systems oExperience with global/international operations/organization Source:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
