Job Description SAP , SHAREPOINT , EXCEL & WORD NextEra Energy is seeking an Accounting Technician for a 15-month Contract assignment Last 4 Digits of SS# 2-Digit Birth-Month 2-Digit Birth-Day Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical / accounting functions in one or more of the following areas:
general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial area in various areas of the company.
Demonstrate knowledge of bookkeeping accounting principles.
Demonstrate basic ability to use job-specific computer systems ( SAP , CARMs, FINS, FAMS, CATS, etc.
).
Assist in special projects and analysis under the direction of exempt personnel or in support of the lead technician.
Good communication skills, oral and written, good record keeping and organization skills are needed.
High School / GED required.
1 plus years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
Budgets Clerk o Work with the Project Managers on the generating various Budget reports and deliverables - Excel and SAP o Responsible for publishing the budget forecast, variance, accruals , C&A's, & invoice processing for the assigned projects o Manage and maintain the invoice register and coordinate the receipt and submission of invoices from vendors 1.
