Company Description Opening in the summer of 2014, Vintro Hotel & Kitchen is a new boutique hotel located two blocks west of Collins Avenue and the beautiful Miami Beaches.
The property is located at the crossroads of Park Avenue and the newly renovated Collins Canal that connects guests to Biscayne Bay, Indian Creek and Lake Pancoast.
Nestled in the heart of the new cultural district, neighbors include the Bass Museum of Art, Miami City Ballet and the New World Symphony.
Vintro Hotel & Kitchen is located at 2216 Park Avenue, just 15 minutes from Miami International Airport and the Miami Seaport.
Job Description C ulture Duties Welcome guests and processes their arrivals, departures, reservations, discrepancies, and disputes.
Ensure guest satisfaction with all hotel services, taking ownership of and resolving all guest concerns.
Perform check-out and cash handling activities in accordance with all Hotel cashiering and credit policies.
Post charges received by the Front Desk from any of the Hotel's outlets.
Demonstrate initiative in the performance of job duties, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes necessity.
Listen, understand, and clarify any concerns and issues raised by fellow team members and guests.
Demonstrate ability to work with and understand financial information and basic arithmetic functions.
Be involved and actively engaged in department meetings, planning and execution of the hotel's sales strategy.
Answer telephone calls and guest inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
Ensure the maximization of room revenue.
Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
Work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
Attend meetings/training as required by management.
Perform other duties as required by management.
Maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications Must be Bilingual.
Minimum one year Front Desk experience at a comparable luxury property preferred.
Minimum 1 Year experience working with Opera (PMS) a must.
General knowledge of hotel departments preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to stand for an eight hour shift.
Excellent organizational skills.
Physical Requirements Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Stand, sit, or walk around for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping down.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
