Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist

Notifying patients of estimated charges based on contracted rates.
Explaining deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses as needed.
Creating financial arrangements when a patient has expenses not covered by insurance.
Documenting all contact with patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
Obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and or scheduling peer to peer reviews.
Knowledge of insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, EOB's, and billing codes.
Scheduling patients for procedures MUST be fully fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
MUST have a background in healthcare.
