Part-time Legal Assistant
Quick Apply Part-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description We are looking for an entry level Legal Assistant to assist a boutique law firm on a part-time basis.
Flexible schedule 15-20 hours per week.
Ideal candidates may include students, parents who need to accommodate child care schedules, or retired persons who are seeking entertainment and supplemental income.
Spanish speaking preferred.
Qualifications required:
Reliable Car and ability to drive Reliable laptop computer and mobile device/phone Minimum education required, high school diploma with outstanding performance in AP High School courses with faculty recommendations Current enrollment in college, university, or advanced program acceptable Foreign legal education (with verification) acceptable Skills required:
Honesty and trustworthiness Punctuality Precision Common sense Ability to communicate respectfully Ability to accept direction Ability to follow instructions carefully Ability to take initiative without instructions Desire to do a good job Familiarity with technology, Microsoft Office and Google Apps especially Initial responsibilities would include administrative tasks such as:
Scanning documents and receipts Sorting and organizing mail Preparing letters and packages for mailing Filing Entering billable time Reviewing and responding to email Scheduling appointments and hearings Hospitality (e.

offering coffee to visitors) Errands (e.
g.
post office, delivering documents or gifts) Preparing and electronically filing documents Preparing hearing folders/ binders for attorneys Disqualifying issues:
