Essential Functions:
Handles all assigned appraisals as promptly and effectively as possible and with minimal need for direction and oversight.
Makes decisions regarding scope and proper repair techniques for all types of damages.
Understands insurance coverages and causation.
Responsive to the appraisal panel and provides timely status updates to the carriers.
Maintains current knowledge of building techniques and codes relevant to the loss location.
Able to prepare the requisite estimate and sketch utilizing updated estimating software.
Ability to negotiate with other professionals in the field of appraisal Job Requirements:
Must have 5 years of appraisal experience Advanced experience preparing estimates with Xactimate Effective communication and customer service skills Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of insurance policies, theories, and practices Skilled at using required property equipment such as measuring devices, digital camera, ladders, etc.
Must have reliable transportation and inspection equipment Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
