We are seeking a professional and experienced Legal Receptionist to join our team.
As a Legal Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and reputable law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming calls, taking messages and providing basic information as needed.
- Schedule and manage calendars efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including packages, and distribute them to the appropriate individuals.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring they are up to date and easily accessible with mail and faxes.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as drafting correspondence, proofreading documents, and preparing court filings.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Receptionist or in a similar role within a law firm or legal office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work performed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
