1K a year We are looking for an all-star Business Manager for our Tri-Locations between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
This is a full-time position requiring the Business Manager to be working on the field with a solid knowledge of, and hands-on experience, in construction.
Tasks may change regularly so the ability to learn, adapt, and multi-task are essential.
Candidate must be motivated to grow professionally with LEAD Engineering Contractors.
Tasks:
ACCOUNTING:
Accounts Payable o Process all project related invoices and prepare monthly accruals o Review vendor statements o Post PO's, Subcontracts and CORs in Foundation Software o Update Release of Lien and NTO log o Fill out credit applications o Review and log all delivery tickets o Credit card and Fuel card receipts - scan and save o Request and collect COI documents for each subcontractor Accounts Receivable o Manage log o Prepare invoices for jobsite materials sold on occasion HUMAN RESOURCES:
Assist with employee relations Onsite onboarding including onsite drug tests Assist with payroll - Timecard entry into HeavyJob Enforcing company policies RISK MANAGEMENT:
Assist with filing of claims Review & follow up on claims EEO/DBE & OJT COMPLIANCE:
Generate all EEO compliance paperwork o For project audits o For Certified Payroll (if applicable) o OJT schedules, trainee enrollments, weekly & monthly reports o Notify FDOT of any officer changes at subcontractor level Manage all subcontractor FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) & EEO compliance requirements Certified payroll (if applicable); manage subcontractor certified payroll reports Update project bulletin with FDOT, DOL, EEO posters Job Type:
