Responsible for ensuring all patients scheuled for next business day are screened and confirmed for their upcoming appointment.
Must ensure the patient has paid their co pay and pending balance, as well as scheduling their follow up appointment.
Duties:
Ensure patient is set up for the mode of communication requested for the televisit Executes all checklist items are completed, including MedzDirect Eligible alerts and the patient accepting the pharmacy program Ensures all pending balances and copays are collected Facilitate any additional services requested by patients such as therapy and PCP appointments Acts as patient advocate Responsible for merging and updating previous progress note during screening.
History of present illness subjective area must be updated for each patient appoointment based on the patient responses.
Ensures all copay and balance collections are posted into the system once retreved Ensures the scheduling of a follow up appointment during the confirmation phone call.
All follow ups are 28 days for medication management and 1 week for therapy Must ensure all confirmation calls are completed prior to finishing the business day Check e-mail and respond in a timely (same day or no more than 24 hours later) Ensure all follow up patients have their insurance verified.
If authorization is needed, an encounter must be created and sent to the outpatient coordinator.
Ensure all patients unable to be reached after 3 calls is placed in ADM status Communicate with supervisor on a regular basis Maintain a professional attitude Read/Understand all policies and procedures Perform all other functions that are necessary for the efficient operation of the practice Date:
