Stantec is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer in our Coral Gables, Florida office. We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise on the Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) Scoping process. The candidate shall assist with the implementation of standard RRR scoping reports (including Pavement Only Projects, Ride Only, SMART, and Reconstruction). This candidate will also be part of our roadway design practice in the Coral Gables, Florida office. Your Key
Responsibilities:
Manage the production of FDOT District RRR Scoping projects Building and maintaining strong client relationships Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures; and review plans for conformance with FDOT design standards Planning, organizing, and supervising the work of other transportation professionals Plan and organize the work of subordinates and staff members in multiple offices Lead roadway plans preparation and development efforts as the engineer of record Direct highly complex and specialized roadway and drainage design engineering projects on an areawide basis including limited access tolled and non-tolled facilities, as well as, arterial roadway projects Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials:
A wide-range of experience with RRR projects Ability to work in MicroStation, Geopak and 3D Engineering Modeling software Experience in the use of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred Experience in the preparation of presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint Experienced developing, negotiating, and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff Education and
Experience:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
