Major
Responsibilities:
It is the major responsibility of a faculty member at Florida National University to provide quality instruction and career advisement to all students.
The faculty also is responsible for maintaining grades and for the development of course objectives, outline, syllabi, and course competencies.
Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provides appropriate level of instruction:
Didactic or Clinical.
Provides quality instruction for the students.
Ensures the assessment of students learning outcomes per course.
Reports to the Registrar's office all grades and submits reports on a timely fashion.
Attends all faculty meetings, professional development functions and University committees to which they have been assigned.
Ensures that all electronic library resources are used only for college work.
Maintains the posted hours for the purpose of student advisement and tutoring.
Performs those duties designated by the Respiratory Department's Program Director, PD.
Works with the librarians in the establishment and weeding of the library program and course collection development.
Oversee compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations.
Continuously oversee actions for improvements at campus level sited in the Faculty's Planning, Assessment, and Implementation Form.
Participates in the self-studies and committees conducted by the University.
Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies as permitted by individual full-time position.
Performs other duties as assigned including Inter-Rater Reliability trials (Clinical Faculty only).
Follows Director of Clinical Education, DCE guidelines while performing clinical instruction in all matters related to the students' education.
Honors all facility mandated policies applicable to clinical professors while in the facility, as long as they do not pose a conflict with FNU policies, and notifies the DCE if there are existing discrepancies between policies from both institutions (clinical facility and FNU).
Reports student and facility issues that could affect the program to the DCE and PD via email within 24 hours of occurrence.
Follow all FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulation and the FNU Code of Ethics.
As well as, Title IX, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (FERPA), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, as amended from time to time (FIPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as amended from time to time (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations.
Reads, understands and complies with the University's mission, the catalog, the College's policies and procedures, the Faculty Handbook, and the institutional effectiveness process.
Responds to communications (e-mail/voice-mail) on a daily basis.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree preferred.
Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical experience as a Radiologic technologist.
Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
Clear/Active:
unrestricted American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography or the equivalent (an unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located).
Clear/Active:
unrestricted Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Collaborative work style; strong communication / interpersonal / organizational skills.
Student-centered approach; balances team and individual responsibilities.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and basic database applications.
Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
