Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage multiple Michelin Star accredited Restaurants in Miami and Houston.
This individual will be required to be on site either at Houston, Texas or Miami, Florida.
The Social Media Specialist works alongside the Marketing Manager to create curated social media posts that accurately reflect the brand and reach the target demographic.
They manage the social media accounts and websites of the assigned entities.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain Social Media calendars for all four restaurant entities consisting of a mix of posts 5-6 days a week Monitor all incoming Instagram messages 7 days a week Quickly inform Management of important direct messages received via social media related to PR, Reservations, Groups, or VIP Clientele Share tagged and upload Instagram stories 7 days a week Create Press highlights for all relevant media Manage profile highlights and update when appropriate Create and distribute newsletters when relevant, focusing on holidays, special events and more.
Collaborate with the General Managers to ensure the brand and seasonal menus are accurately represented Attend the Operations Meeting once a week to remain up-to-date on all events and highlights Attend all PR calls Meet The Team Posts - collaborate with entities to highlight current employees and their achievements in relation to the restaurant.
Create Instagram Reels with provided content when appropriate Editing all content to best represent the brands Communicate with team members to gain new, up to date content and information Manage all Website adjustments such as pop-ups, menu changes, media updates, etc.
Museum of Fine Arts Houston
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Museum of Fine Arts team to represent surrounding art exhibitions Attend all Museum of Fine Arts relevant meetings Follow the Museum of Fine Arts Houston guidelines for representation
Qualifications:
Proficiency in the Instagram social media platform and more Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
) Fluency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, etc) Minimum of two (2) years as a Social Media Manager required Minimum two (2) years of Website editing experience required Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Ability to sit for more than eight (8) hours High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required (Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure) Associate Degree in Marketing Management or equivalent Certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
Must be able to multi-task and manage in high volume, and high stress environments.
