Summary:
This is a multi-faceted position that will require the candidate to utilize many sskillsaily (for the Sand Lab.
) in the Quality Control operations, both in the laboratories and on the shop floor.
Quality Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Perform various material terotarythe laboratory equipment.
Training to be provided.
Perform in-process inspection of production parts to assess conformance to customer requirements using sampling methods, process monitoring, control charts, and correct data recording.
Inspect parts for product acceptability using in-process inspection forms, customer complaint/concern data, and part history information.
Verify part print and inspection paperwork to appropriate current revision levels.
Ability to read basic blueprints and use precision measuring devices suchand as calipers, micrometers in accordance with inspection paperwork.
Self-Paced, Self-Motivated individual that can work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform routine tasks and multi-task.
above-averageove average math skills (Math skills below) Must have the flexibility to work all shifts.
Must be able to work with outside suppliers and regulatory agencies.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Adhere to safety standards immediately reporting unsafe conditions.

Quality Technician Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Quality Technician Language Skills Ability to read production reports in English to help with set-up.
Communicate with Crew Leader or Supervisor as any problems arise.
Quality Technician Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Quality Technician Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
