The Associate Director, Divisional Marketing is a leadership role in ChenMed's marketing organization, accountable for leading and managing all aspects of their assigned centers/ market/region/division's advertising, marketing, and promotional campaigns, as well as sales support.
The incumbent in this role serves as the voice of the market and ensures marketing strategies support the growth needs of the local medical centers.
The incumbent works closely with ChenMed's business units, creative agencies, copywriters, web developers, media buying teams, and production firms to translate marketing strategy into well-executed campaigns that deliver expected results.
The Associate Director, Divisional Marketing is accountable to local market leadership teams on marketing performance and results.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Consults with and provides strategic marketing leadership and recommendations to local markets based on goals and objectives, Plays an active role in different cross-functional projects and programs and plays an active role in Divisional meetings and planning as the marketing resource / expert, contributing recommendations and solutions that align with needs.
Serves as a liaison and functions as an agency account manager between local market staff (clients) and the ChenMed Marketing COE.
Builds deep relationships and collaborates with center, market, region, and divisional leadership teams to understand their needs and design solutions that meet their objectives Develops strong partnerships with members of the ChenMed Marketing Center of Expertise (COE) and outside agencies as needed to create and execute local marketing plans for ChenMed's medical center brands.
Creates, develops, manages, executes, measures and optimizes local marketing plans for each medical center, including situational analyses of local markets (SWOT, competitive analysis, target market analysis, etc.
).
Understands value-based care, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, selling seasons, and the payor and broker landscape in local markets Partners with the Sales organization to develop and execute on local co-branding and co-marketing opportunities that meet shared goals with payor partners Supports and enables the Sales organization's efforts to partner with local captive and independent agents and brokers with strategic solutions and tools Manages local marketing budgets.
Implements marketing campaigns in Salesforce and understands Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and PowerBI for end-to-end reporting and optimization.
Creates solutions and supports for patient referrals and membership growth.
Optimizes ROI for marketing initiatives through insights from marketing tests.
Partners with local center and market sales teams to recommend local promotional campaigns and events that strengthen the brand and grow membership for the business.
Coordinates effectively with the marketing support team to design effective marketing collateral materials through succinct creative briefs for projects, ensuring the development process is informed by consumer research and dynamics in the local market.
Guides the creative process from end-to-end, including research oversight, creative brief development, creative agency management, media buying, production, and results analysis.
Facilitates and engages the planning and review process to improve marketing performance over time.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong business acumen and acuity Expert understanding of marketing channels - including direct, web, community, and social, face-to-face, events, and general media (television, radio, out of home) Excellent knowledge and understanding of general Marketing practices, processes, functions, techniques and methods Excellent writing skills and have extensive hands-on experience with a variety of consumer communications channels; strong editing skills Strong analytical skills to effectively assess and communicate metrics and impact of marketing initiatives Ability to leverage insights from market research and market analytics into compelling consumer creative strategies that achieve organizational goals A track record of strategically developing and executing marketing communications plans that deliver strong results Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships and bonds across internal marketing team and external partners.
Evidence of strong strategic capability, coupled with the pragmatism to act tactically Ability to trouble-shoot and problem-solve, adept at reconciling conflicting priorities within a fast-paced environment Comfortable in a flexible, fluid and occasionally ambiguous operating environment where initiative is encouraged and rewarded, and collaboration is required for success Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software Ability and willingness to travel nationwide up to 20% of the time Spoken and written fluency in English This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis Master's degree a plus A minimum of 7 years of consumer marketing and communications experience required A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a marketing role, creating, designing, developing and implementing cross-channel communications strategies preferred Experience working with fast-paced, high-intellect, complex organizations, and a proven ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders Experience working in both lead and support roles across matrixed teams Healthcare experience a plus.
Consumer marketing experience in the senior (65+) market a plus.
