Summary:
The Help Desk Specialist is responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, provision, administration and maintenance of relevant hardware and software related to IT infrastructure.
Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Assures Microsoft Environment is following best practices for the organization.
Required
Qualifications:

years of IT support experience Advanced knowledge of IT systems and hardware including installation and maintenance of infrastructure IT systems Previous experience working with medium size, growing and agile organizations is highly preferred 2
years Microsoft Exchange, O365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive 2
years of hands-on experience in systems administration, network management, telecommunication, and support operations 2
years of in-depth support experience and a solid general understanding of Microsoft Windows Architecture Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365) and Exchange Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) to manage endpoints Experience with diverse hardware platforms (Lenovo, HP, UniFi) Experience in supporting Microsoft desktop software and hardware General understanding of supporting technologies:
TCP/IP, IIS, DHCP/DNS, Anti-Virus, systems management Experience with documentation for system builds, configurations, and support procedures Current Microsoft certification is a plus Essential Job Functions:
Provide desktop support to end users Administer Office 365, including administering and troubleshooting Azure MFA, password resets, new accounts, etc Solve problems related to installation, implementation, maintenance and operations of hardware and software and related infrastructure components Tracking issues with help desk ticketing Document all policies, procedures, and standards around the build and continuing operation of servers and systems Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning Engage with outside resources as needed to support overall technology delivery and support.
Ability to think strategically to determine appropriate technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and discuss technical information with non-technical resources and team members Ability to function independently and make decisions that have department and company-wide impact Must have ability to work evenings and weekends on an as-needed basis.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines Excellent communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with executives, senior leadership teams, corporate and onsite associates, and outside vendors Educate users on cyber security awareness/best practices to keep them informed of the latest phishing campaigns, etc.
