Construction Safety Inspector

The Safety Inspector is the primary safety professional for the Miami area and will require them to train employees, conduct safety inspections and contribute to our culture of safety.
This position is hybrid with 10% in office and 90% in the field.
You will report directly to our Safety Director.
Qualifications Able to influence and positively affect change Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Knowledge and understanding of OSHA Regulations with current OSHA 30 Certification CPR Certified Fluent in English and Spanish Five years of construction experience Two years of work experience and or related education specializing in Safety, with one year including on-site construction Environmental Health and Safety responsibilities Valid FL Drivers License and Work Authorization Basic knowledge of construction safety work rules and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations including, OSHA Part 1910 and 1926 Safety requirements, NEC, NFPA and ANSI standards for construction Swing stage familiarity a plus.
Scaffolding competent/trainer.
Basic understanding of state Workers Compensation laws and reporting requirements Physical requirements:
climb ladders, lift 50 lbs.
and be comfortable with heights Technologically proficient including Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Gmail Competitive salary with yearly bonus.
