Position Overview:
The Software QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our aviation maintenance and engineering software products by managing internal and external resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and a proven track record of managing QA teams in demanding software environments.
Work will be in our Miami (Coral Gables) Headquarters.

Key
Responsibilities:
Manage an on and off-shore QA team responsible for testing the aviation maintenance and engineering software products.
Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans.
Work closely with the development team to ensure that software defects are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Coordinate testing efforts with external QA resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Research and select software quality tools (automation, test management, etc.
) Work with Product Managers and Product Specialists to develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for the software products.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the QA process.
Ensure compliance with security and aviation industry regulations and standards.
Provide regular metrics-based reports to management on the status of the software quality and testing efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Experience working in the aviation industry, with knowledge of aviation maintenance and engineering processes.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and practices, such as OWASP, ISO27001, NIST, etc.
a plus.
Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and standards, such as FAA, EASA, and IATA a plus.
