The position is responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner.
This position provides radiographic examinations on all age groups served by the entity within the scope of the Express Care Center or Outpatient department practice.
The Radiology Technologist Express Care works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to coordinate the patient flow in a manner which is efficient, professional, quality and safe for patient care.
Job requires the employee to provide front desk duties including registration, deployment of legal, ethical and compliance related documents, collections, phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, X-Ray and lab services as well as other duties assigned to safely treat the patients.
Supports all regulatory standards, National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Precautions, Infection Control Guidelines, patient and employee safety principles along with HIPAA policies.
Communicates clearly with patient directly and over the telephone regarding medications, education, and counseling, per physician/advanced practitioner direction Estimated pay range for this position is $26.

Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
6 months experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Recent graduates can be considered.
Change agility and flexibility a must.
Depending on the departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in certain skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including registration, lab point of care testing and intake of medical conditions.
Employee must maintain licensure/certifications throughout their employment.
