Responsibilities:
Verifies basic product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
Identifies and documents discrepancies using non-conformance system.
Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Reviews rework dispositions.
Assists in product reviews with internal customer during product or process verification.
-Establishing quality standards for products a company produces.
-Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure the operations meet production standards.
-Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced by a company.
-Using gadgets such as micrometers, calipers, ring gages, pin gages and thread gages to measure products.
-Removing products that don't meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
-Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.
-Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
-Will be sitting in chair, no heavy lifting or climbing.
-Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through accredited basic education (e.
g.
high school diploma/GED).
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 7 am - 4 pm Possibility of OT 100% Onsite in Miami, FL Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check.
Both must clear prior to start date.
