Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, which may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and physical and aptitude exams and certifications.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hire of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers as required to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification.
Create, recommend and upon approval implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles routine employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
Attends and as required, participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices as required to maintain compliance.
Maintains current knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Process onboarding of new employees by coordinating office and parking access, constructing the onboarding kit, creating a new employee record and input data into all HRIS and benefit systems Maintain, audit and update employee and company record.
Effectively communicate all company policies and procedures to employees and or candidates Audit and correct timesheets in accordance with company policy Process offboarding of employees to include ensuring all notifications and systems records are updated.
Demonstrate and ensure compliance of Federal/State/Local laws.
Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department.
Manage department calendar, including business travel arrangements and training meetings.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Four (4) or more years of Human Resources experience.
Working knowledge of Federal, State and local HR laws Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Prior experience using an HRIS - Experience with Paylocity is a plus Above average written and spoken communication skills.
Must be skilled in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS or HRMS).
Paylocity is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Skilled in handling harassment claims, harassment training & grievance procedures.
Excellent organizational management skills.
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
