Construction Permit Expeditor
Confidential Confidential Miami, FL Miami, FL Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour We are looking for a skilled Permit Expeditor/Plans Coordinator to facilitate the approval of all construction project permits.
In conjunction with tracking and pushing permits forward, the right candidate will be interfacing with clients and the notary to coordinate online notarizations for documents pertinent to the job as well as making sure documents are prepared and ready before they are needed.
Must have great communication skills and ability to solve problems.
Experience in permit expediting will be very useful, but no experience is mandatory for this position.
Training will be provided.
Responsibilities Communicate with owners and design professionals for all plans needed for permits Collect all necessary permit paperwork from owners/owner reps and sales reps needed to submit to the city building departments.
Follow up with corresponding cities to check on progress of permit applications.
Resolve any requests for edits from building departments.
Print all approved permits and upload copies to our CRM Provide copies of all approved permits to corresponding project managers On occasion must be on site for inspections of installations.
Keep accurate records.
Skills High school diploma is required Bi-lingual in English/Spanish Proven experience in relevant position (Customer service/administration) Experience in a role where organizational skills are required.
Proficient in MS Office and filing systems Excellent communication skills Job Type:
