We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team.
If you have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated and dependable, we would like to speak with you.
Our ideal candidate will have prior experience driving a company vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a company vehicle in all weather conditions and traffic patterns.
Load and unload delivery items from vehicles using hand or power tools and equipment.
Operate equipment to ensure correct material counts, weights, and quality of items being delivered to the customer.
Ensure correct street and route directions are being followed.
Follow all company policies and procedures relating to safe delivery services.
Adhere to all state regulations and federal laws relating to the transportation of residential and commercial items.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles in an efficient, effective, and ethical manner.
Perform minor repairs on vehicles when necessary (e.
g.
, when the vehicle has been damaged, or was not in use for a period of time.
) Maintain cleanliness of vehicles inside and out.
Notify management of any safety concerns or damage to any items being delivered or received.
Follows all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to employment, including but not limited to:
security measures, personal identification requirements (includes Social Security Number), etc.
Provides support during delivery routes by collecting delivery materials (e.
g.
, boxes, food/beverage cartons etc.
)from customers along the way.
Completes paperwork related to deliveries (e.
g.
, delivery slips) in a timely manner.
