Job Summary The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks and services to help support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities and Duties Communicate onboarding instructions to new hires, prior to starting date.
Audit data and set up employee profiles in internal HR systems.
Assist with coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Processes employee benefit enrollments.
Prepares monthly insurance bills for approval.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Administrative or HR experience preferred.
Strong Time Management Skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Function as a team player, work well under pressure and be a forward thinker.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
