The Laundry Attendant must ensure that linen is clean and available for use by the hotel's departments when needed.
Objectives The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for sorting, washing and pressing the hotel linens.
Duties include operating the equipment necessary to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron and fold all hotel linen.
Essential functions of the Laundry Attendant:

Schedule will be based on rotating shifts.
Weekends, nights and holidays are likely to be schedule for work.
Laundry Attendant must be able to work schedule based on business demands, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, nights and so forth.

This is a job position which spends most if not all of the time standing up in laundry room.
Laundry attendant should be able to:
Stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, walk, push, pull, manual dexterity Ability to lift exerting up to 50 lbs Work under variable temperatures and noise levels Near vision- the ability see details at a close range.
Work environment:
