The Myeloma Institute at The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Research Assistant to work on the UHealth Campus.
The Research Assistant collaborates with research investigators to provide support to our clinical trials and ongoing program projects.
Moreover, the Research Assistant operates with the goal of ensuring that the collection of research samples is performed efficiently and in compliance with applicable guidelines.
The Research Assistant collaborates with research investigators by providing support while adhering to established protocols.
Understands and interprets research protocols and procedures.
Coordinates research kit preparation and delivery with research team.
Orders research sample collection supplies and maintains inventory.
Establish and maintain working relationships with the research support manager and university personnel.
Generate reports with study metrics.
Attends and participates in meetings, conferences, and training groups as requested.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Prepares correspondence and answers phones.
Formulates and maintains bibliographies and completes applications and forms.

Reviews and edits various materials for publication and prepares publication schedules.
Maintains appropriate logs, records, and study notebooks.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core
Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experienceExperience Skill in completing tasks accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
Basic computer skills and experience working with basic software such as Microsoft Office applications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
