BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVEPosition Overview:
Our Luxury Client is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive for the West Coast US and/or Central US region with relevant work experience in a commercial area of high value-added services, preferably design, strategic consulting, or marketing.
The Business Development Executive focuses on delivering end-to-end services and solutions to its Clients, encompassing strategic design, interaction design, product design, as well as physical and digital prototyping.
As one of the key members of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and establishing strong client relationships within these specific geographical areas.
Your primary focus will be on generating new leads, identifying potential clients, and closing deals.

Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors.
Analyze market needs and opportunities for industrial design and product design services in the West Coast US and Central US regions.
Stay updated on the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and engage with potential clients through various channels, including networking events, trade shows, referrals, and online platforms.
Build a strong network of industry contacts and potential clients in relevant sectors.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for lead generation and prospecting.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their design needs and requirements.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our design capabilities.
Understand client feedback and communicate effectively with the design team to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients.
Collaborate with the design team to develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work closely with the design team, providing them with insights and feedback from client interactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance/admin, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and foster professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
A master's degree is a plus.

years of proven experience in business development or sales, specifically in the industrial design and product design industry.
Strong understanding of design principles and design trends Passion for and familiarity with user experience, innovation, design, strategic thinking, new technologies, and new media Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet sales targets.
Proficient in using Sales Force, CRM, and other sales tools to manage client interactions and track sales activities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions to meet clients and attend industry events.
