Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Humam Resource (HR) Manager to join our team.
As the HR Manager, you'll oversee the HR Department planning, executing, and directing departmental function, activities, and duties.
You will consult with top executives on strategic planning and serve as the link between an organization's management and its employees.
With your unwavering dedication, you'll utilize your decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staff management and training.
Responsibilities oPartners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's HR and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning oProvides support and guidance to HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations oManages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings oAnalyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent oOversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations oMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance oMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law oPerforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
oMinimum bachelor's degree in HR or related field oMinimum 5 years of experience in HR, experience of working in restaurant & hospitality groups or similar organizations is needed, (The position will focus on hiring and team growth, so experience of leading the team grow from 100-300 is preferred.
) oStrong sense of managing labor costs for restaurants.
oDeep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations oEfficient HR administration and people management skills oExcellent record keeping skills oFantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices oExcellent written and verbal communication skills, speaking both English and Chinese is needed.
oWorks comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines oSuperb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software oRemarkable organizational and conflict management skills oExperience handling employee relation issues oStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills oMeticulous attention to detail Job Type:
