- Miami, FLPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDayJob CategoryHuman ResourcesDescriptionThe HR Generalist will support the HR department with the day-to-day recruitment, onboarding, benefits, workers compensation, general policy questions and assist with HR programs and initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities Assist with full cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt level staff, including job postings on career websites, candidate resume sourcing and pre-screening, full-cycle applicant tracking.
Coordinates employee onboarding including new hire paperwork, setting up drug screenings and background checks, and first day initiatives in a timely fashion.
Day-to-day benefits administration includes processing benefit enrollments and terminations, answering benefit inquiries, liaising with brokers to resolve claim inquiries, and processing of disability claim forms.
Schedules and conducts new hire benefits review.
Assists with benefit monthly reconciliations and benefit questions and/or concerns.
Prepare all employee new hire, promotion letters communication.
Maintain and update employment related trackers and files, conducting self-audit to ensure accuracy.
Actively assisting employees with any inquiries or issues with the HRIS system.
Maintains organizational structure charts through use of Visio.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Take steps to ensure documents, files and information are kept secure and employee-related information is not shared outside of a business need context.
Collaborate with HR management to support positive employee relations by conducting proactive interventions.
Foster an environment in which employees can comfortably discuss job-related problems and investigate and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
May be asked to support on scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes and action item follow-up.
Active involvement with other major HR initiatives including team-building events.
Exemplifies a positive moral compass and provides similar guidance to other employees and/or management.
Works within a lawful context to ensure VIVEX is operating in a sound legal environment.
Perform other HR related duties and partake in projects as assigned and provide administrative support to the human resource function as/when needed (ex:
correspondence, file maintenance, HRIS entry, manage third party vendor, scan files, etc.
) Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of two years' Human Resources experience required.
Confidence and professionalism working in an employee facing role a necessity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
