Responsibilities:
Acts as a guide for co-workers and promoting desired standards and practices.
Trains other employees in the assigned responsibilities, making sure the respective policies are followed.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain.
Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
Responds to alarms, dispatched calls and emergencies; decide what actions to take based on situation.
Understands the capabilities of and maintains proficiency in the use of all safety equipment.
Prepares accurate reports of such incidents as observed.

Complete security patrol of property.
Identify and resolve actual or potential safety hazards.
Identify and resolve potential or actual security vulnerabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Spanish is a plus! Ability to stand and walk while monitoring common areas and patrolling the building.
Must have a valid State of Florida Security D License.
Be flexible to work different shifts:
morning, afternoon, and/or night based on availability.
Ability to complete detailed incident reports and on-duty logs.
Must be professional, reliable and ensure that the building, its residents, guests, and employees, are always safe and secure.
Must maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and a professional appearance at all times.
Be courteous to residents and guests, offering assistance with customer service skills, patience, attentiveness, and clear communications.
Eager to learn the building systems and policies, while providing first response and support when and where needed.
Have basic PC skills and knowledge of Word, and other common software.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
At least 2 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement or Military.
