Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing department - Ensure production goals are met and quality standards are maintained - Develop and implement production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines - Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed - Train new employees on manufacturing processes and procedures - Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency - Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions - Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures - Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for necessary materials - Prepare reports on production activities, including productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Note:
