Provide visionary leadership to the tax team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Client Relationship Act as a primary point of contact for key tax clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic tax advice.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Tax Planning and Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated tax planning strategies for clients.
Provide high-level tax advisory services to address complex client issues.
Team Management and Directly manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering professional growth and development.
Oversee staff training programs to ensure the team remains up-to-date on tax laws and regulations.
Quality Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes for tax engagements.
Review complex tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Business Drive business development initiatives to expand the firms tax practice.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling services and collaborate with other practice areas.
Internal Collaborate with other firm leaders to integrate tax services with audit, advisory, and other practice areas.
Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the firm.
Thought Stay informed about industry trends, changes in tax laws, and emerging issues.
Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (Masters or JD) is preferred.
CPA certification or other relevant professional certifications.

years of progressive experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a tax practice.
