4 Miami, FL Miami, FL Full-time Full-time Manages Rehabilitation Services program to assist individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment attaining an optimal level of vocational, social development, personal functioning, and independence.
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Mission Services, the position is responsible to:
1.
Provide oversight of all operations for the Rehabilitation Services Center and implement strategic development plans and practices for future development.
Communicate to team members the long-term strategic vision of the program area.

Manage assigned programs and services developing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the division's goals are achieved.

Provide goal-minded leadership skills by delivering services and reaching program goals to maintain the integrity of the division.
The Manager must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills including the ability to manage others, work cooperatively with cross-functional organizations, a high level of organization skills, and the ability to make difficult and timely decisions.
The incumbent must demonstrate an understanding and ability to handle large budgets and as well as make sound financial decisions.
The Manager must have the ability to deal with conflict effectively and can problem-solve with outside agencies and others in the community.
The incumbent must also conduct self in a professional manner, maintain a professional appearance that enhances the agency's reputation, and speak convincingly to various audiences on behalf of people served.
Six - eight years in the field of direct service experience working with disabled people with disabilities and persons with other barriers to employment.
Six - eight years experience providing supervision to direct staff, directing programming in a social service, counseling, rehabilitation, or special education environment.
Master's Degree, from an accredited institution, in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or Rehabilitation, or an applicable field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience may be considered in lieu of education at the discretion of the Vice President of Mission Services.
Previous experience in human resources, human services, or job development is a plus.
Computer literate.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
