As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for:
Receiving and handling inbound calls from agents, policyholders and other stakeholders regarding endorsement requests, cancellations, reinstatements, inspections, missing information and other underwriting requirements based on company guidelines.
Evaluating and determining policy cancellations or reinstatements, modification of coverage forms or limits within company guidelines.
Maintaining accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
Participate in projects and other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who are:
Exceptional at managing their time and know how to prioritize.
Experience in both non-standard and standard insurance coverage is a plus.
Fully bilingual in written and spoken English and Spanish is a requirement.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This is a salaried position with a range of $30,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
