The Sr Manager, Sales Strategy will support the strategy development for LAC with deep market analysis and insights. They will coordinate for the financial and planning cycle and ensure a perfect execution of Visa Added Services (VAS) strategy through performance tracking, developing scorecards and dashboards that provide an acute picture of the area results, and enable the adoption of corrective actions when needed.
They will actively participate in cross-functional projects that relate to seller-side strategy.
They will collaborate with regional business leaders to implement and coordinate systems and procedures, and interface with regional and global Sales Operations and Sales enablement business partners. This role will work directly with teams and key partners across Visa's sales structure.
The position requires the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
STRATEGY
  • Supports the LAC VAS leadership team strategy discussions, by identifying relevant trends by country, providing intelligence and market analysis based on internal data and external studies.
  • Supports new strategies and tracks execution to grow Visa's revenues by exploring new verticals, segments, and sales strategies.
  • Develops strategic framework for specific projects (IDDEA Methodology Deployment and expansion of usage), facilitates the discussions and the communication with different stakeholders, and coordinates the implementation of projects with VAS teams, Products, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to guarantee the execution of Visa's sales strategy.

OPERATIONS
  • End-to-end ownership of the LAC VAS Scorecard creation: strategy, budget, goals setting and performance tracking, aligning process and information flow with Finance and regional and teams.
  • Leads and supports pipeline reviews, analyzes pipeline trends and execution as well as develops new approaches to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Supports the VAS leadership team and sales colleagues to enable accurate strategic & business planning, forecasting, aligning with the broader strategy.
  • Supports effective use of CRM tool. Collaborates with leadership and sales management to ensure timely and appropriate implementation of processes to enhance sales results.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Interest and intellectual curiosity regarding the global financial system, as well as FinTech and business models. Knowledge and experience with payments, eCommerce, and mobile technologies is a plus.
Experience in stakeholder management within a multi-national organization.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500.00 to 182,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
