Job Details
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our well-established and growing team! This is a hybrid role that provides an opportunity to work remotely and in-office, offering flexibility and balance. You will be instrumental in managing our tax operations, ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations, planning and strategizing for tax savings, and providing expert tax advice to our mid-sized to large business and high-net-worth clients. You will be dealing with a variety of tax types, including C corporations, S corporations, and Partnerships.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all tax operations, including compliance, reporting, and filing requirements.
2. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies.
3. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
4. Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
5. Identify and mitigate tax risks.
6. Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
7. Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
8. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
3. Minimum 2
years of experience as a Tax Manager or Tax Accountant.
4. Extensive understanding of tax law and statutory regulations.
5. Strong experience with tax preparation, tax compliance, and tax planning.
6. Previous experience with C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, or high-net worth individuals.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Proficient in tax software and MS Office.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
