Logistics Planner

About the Position
The Logistics Planner is responsible for the Logistics component of the supply chain architecture. The Logistics Planner will work in an administrative atmosphere managing the day to day business of the customers third-party warehouses, virtual warehouses, and national accounts located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The purpose of the Logistics Planner position is to ensure that product demand is identified, ordered, managed, and processed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Functions
Download and review the Oracle Supply Demand Analysis (SDA) report and conduct inventory analysis to determine when product is needed and places requisitions to satisfy demand.
Review SDA and identify past due inbound and outbound sales orders.
Coordinate with all key stakeholders including the Sales and Transportation teams to ensure orders are fulfilled.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct monthly cycle counts to ensure Oracle and warehouses are aligned.
Complete action inventory reconciliation adjustments through Oracle.
Employ e-mail, phone, instant messaging, and any other form of communication to effectively connect to key stakeholders.
Facilitate and support an intermediary relationship between assigned customer and relevant service providers.
Complete special projects and assignments as requested
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or minimum 2 years relevant experience required.
2 years Supply Chain (planning & procurement) experience preferred.
ERP system knowledge (Oracle or SAP experience preferred)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs

This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
