Overview:
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Operator to join our team.
As a Drone Operator/RPIC, you will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to collect data and be a visual observer.
This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and passion for aviation in a dynamic and growing industry.
Responsibilities:
Operate drones autonomously to collect high-quality aerial data.
Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure drones are in proper working condition.
Follow flight routes and coordinate with ground crew for safety and efficiency.
Monitor weather conditions and adjust flight plans accordingly.
Ensure accurate data collection and maintenance of equipment.
Maintain accurate records of flights and any incidents or accidents during operations.
Skills/Requirements:
Must have FAA part 107 license (We will cover your costs to get it) Proficient in operating drones and familiar with the latest technology.
Must have a vehicle.
Active and comfortable being on feet and outdoors.
Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA) regarding drone operations.
Excellent piloting skills with the ability to operate drones smoothly and safely.
Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.
Effective communication skills in English.
Spanish is a plus.
