We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sr. Staff Tax Accountant to join one of our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity, where you will be instrumental in managing and executing tax strategies and ensuring compliance with tax laws. If you have a passion for tax accounting and possess a strong understanding of 1120C filing, Schedule M, Tax Provisions, and Federal & State Tax, we would love to hear from you.

As a Permanent Sr. Staff Tax Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, including 1120C, ensuring accurate filing and compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
2. Assisting with the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
3. Conducting research on tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on tax matters and ensure compliance.
4. Assisting in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize cash flow.
5. Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
6. Preparing tax reports and forecasts for internal management use.
7. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
8. Collaborating with tax consultants and auditors to handle tax-related issues.
9. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments in tax law to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Job Details
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Sr. Staff Tax Accountant position will have the following
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on 1120C filing, Schedule M, Tax Provisions, and Federal & State Tax.
3. Proficient knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
4. Strong understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in tax software programs and MS Office Suite.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
