The Sr.
Global Commodity Manager- BioChem for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies consistent with quality, delivery, cost, and innovation objectives.
Assigned Commodities include, but are not limited to:
Chemicals, Controls/Calibrators, Enzymes/Proteins, Blood/Anti-serum, Blockers, Antibodies, and OEM Reagents.
This position is part of the Global Strategic Sourcing team and will work remotely or hybrid.
This position reports to the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing responsible for global commodity management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and drive a global sourcing/supply base strategy and related KPI s to deliver best total cost of ownership to worldwide manufacturing sites.
Lead a global, multi-site commodity team effort to manage supply continuity risk, improve services, processes, reduce costs and/or leverage company assets.
Independently develop and execute sourcing workshops at or across manufacturing sites.
Lead high level supplier relationship management, negotiations, and contract management to achieve Quality, Delivery, Cost, and risk management objectives.
Build internal strategic partnerships across the company business units including site operations, procurement, quality, commercial operations, and Danaher Corporate Procurement.
Leverage those effective working relationships to meet or exceed YOY performance objectives.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor s degree in field with 14
years experience or Master s degree in field with 12
years experience or Doctoral degree in field with 9
years experienceMinimum 7-10 years experience in international manufacturing/supply chain /strategic sourcingProven track record of high level negotiations, contract development/execution, and breakthrough cost management in the biochemicals space.
Intermediate to advanced competency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, and WordAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%It would be a plus if you also possess:
Technical/Engineering degree or experienceExperience in medical or FDA regulated manufacturingDanaher is committed to a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong and all voices are heard.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
