Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The Superintendent is responsible for running a successful project from the field including; site safety, logistics, project schedule, sub-contractors, etc.
They will also be responsible for some Assistant Project Management responsibilities including change orders requests, RFI's.

Our client is a growing General Contractor in South Florida with a lot of Miami work in the pipeline.

Description

  • Run and maintain a successful commercial project day to day
  • Run OAC Meetings and tool box talks
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, owners and PM on job
  • Update project milestones and schedule
  • Manage or support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, wiring change orders and other related activities.
  • Establish, monitor, communicate, and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software.
  • Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing a combination of Procore Project Management Software and the Microsoft Office programs

Profile

  • 7
    years of experience in commercial construction
  • 4 year degree; construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (Preferred)
  • Experience working on interior renovations up to $1M to $5M With Class A Finishes

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
