Our client is building the future of online video consumption for Latin America and is looking for outstanding developers to join our Front End Prototyping team. This is a unique opportunity to join a core team responsible for delivering outstanding experiences across a range of platforms for millions of customers across an entire region.
You are passionate about crafting the finest interfaces on at least two of our three target prototyping environments (Web, iOS and Android). Your understanding of how to work with UX designers and outstanding experience building the most intuitive, beautiful and frictionless interfaces makes you a perfect fit for this small multidisciplinary team.
Our client opportunities are in Miami, Santa Clara and Seattle. We will consider relocation for the ideal candidate or working remotely if willing to travel.
Responsibilities include:
Developer specializing in user experience and user interface implementation for both web and native mobile applications. You will be responsible for contributing to UX design, developing prototyping interactions, flows and apps. You will work closely with the UX design, product management and engineering teams. Working within an Agile development methodology, you will collaborate with other engineers and with other technical delivery teams to implement solid, robust solutions for new features and services. In addition youll research new experiences, competitive products and technologies, assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviews, and help ensure a high level of product quality.
Senior level experience in building complex object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Also, you have experience with client side web technologies/frameworks (One or more of AngularJs, Knockout, Ember, Backbone, Jquery/JqueryUI, Closure, Sencha/ExtJs, YUI, Bootstrap, Dojo, Mustache.js, Require.js, Common.js, TypeScript, Dart). Bonus experience includes:
UI design (creating mockups and wireframes, working with visual designers, etc)
Mobile UI development (iOS/Cocoa, Android)
Android and/or iOS native app UI development
Java server side web frameworks (SpringMVC, Struts, Tapestry, Wiket, Closure, JSF)
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
Java/J2EE and/or .NET stack
Flex and Flash exposure
Proficiency with visual design tools (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience creating interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details
Bilingual English / Spanish is highly desired but we can work with this
In addition to the above skills, the following is highly desirable:
