Accountabilities & Activities:
Oversees Business Analysts I, coordinates performance reviews, suggest merit bonuses, promotion.
Oversees workload, coaches, motivates and ensures deadlines are met.
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user requirements, prepares requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations.
Liaises between the business and the technical staff and ensure clarity and understanding of organization's direction, structure, and requirements.
Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.
Schedule and Coordinate Business Requirement gathering sessions with Key Stakeholders.
Works efficiently in all areas of the project life cycle requirements analysis, specifications development, application development, testing and implementation.
Creates user manuals and other documentation for end-users; Document the Current and Future processes in both a written and pictorial format.
Communicates status issues and changes to appropriate audience.
Works with business users on unexpected system or processing errors to resolve issues.
May be required to Work-around a special project implementation, if no immediate programming solution is available so that the business flow is not interrupted Enforces of project deadlines and schedules.
Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently.
Performs other tasks/projects as assigned.
Qualifications, Training &
Experience:
4 year college degree preferred in Computer Science or IT related field.
5-7 years experience as a Business Analyst.
At least 3-4 years' experience in Healthcare or Insurance Industry preferred.
Full knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in Healthcare.
Business Analyst certification required or agreement to acquire within the first two year of employment.
Experience and full knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of MS SQL; Tracking Software and Document Management system a plus.
Experience in all areas of the project life cycle, requirements analysis, specifications development, application development, testing and implementation.
Bilingual English/Spanish read and write with ability to communicate effectively in both preferred.
Knowledge of automated testing tools like HPQC or Rational is preferred.
Experience in test script automation.
Manual testing, building of test cases.
