Job Description Sales Analyst Duration:
12 months Contract Job
Summary:
Purpose of Role:
Assist Finance and Commercial Managers in the preparation and analysis of business performance including regular management briefings.
Develop high quality reports to communicate performance and other critical financial and sales data or scenarios to understand and address business performance issues.
Market Complexity:
o Manages a business that operates within a multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-channel, multi-outlet, multi-currency environment.
o Manages relationships with a range of company, customer and external stakeholders.
o Operates in a highly competitive and highly visible retail environment.
o Needs to understand the complex motivations of shoppers, consumers and customers.
Top Accountabilities:
o Support Sales Management with all sales reporting requirements (shipments, depletions, Open Order report, among others) on a weekly basis.
o Create and update Forecast tool for BPM meetings (monthly) for the Retail and the On-Trade business.
o Compile, audit and administer monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Reports that measure key performance indicators (Stock, outlook vs.
AOP).
o Monitor customer stock by SKU and outlines opportunities.
o Create ad hoc Sales Reports as needed.
o Create executive sales presentations in PowerPoint for monthly review when needed.
Track sales changes monthly and ensure data is current in all reports.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
o Financial modelling and decision support skills o Commercial Acumen o Strong communication and influencing skills o Strong attention to detail o High proficiency with Excel and Power Point, experience with SAP and Magnitude/Microstrategy/Citrix preferred o Have a proven level of commercial and financial experience, preferably gained within a retail and/or consumer goods environment.
Global retail or Duty Free environment experience is a Plus.
o Be highly analytical and data literate, understanding and evaluating the profit impact of they suggestions.
o Be a superb planner with the ability to reconcile a complex matrix of brand, customer and consumer needs.
