Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
The Territory Manager for Latin America will be responsible for maximizing the sales of Navico Recreational products in the region through:
The development of and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
Developing and executing account plans, sales projections, product forecasts and budgets.
Creating and managing promotions, trade shows and other marketing initiatives.
Management of customer service efforts in the field.
Developing and maintaining strong technical awareness of the use and application of Navico products.
A strong understanding of competitive products and their features and performance characteristics.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Secondary functions:
Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
Ability to plan, coordinate and prioritize many projects simultaneously.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree and 10 years related experience in sales management, with marine industry customers preferred.
Fluent in English and Spanish (Native).
Previous management of sales teams.
Past experience in forecasting, merchandising, customer marketing, training, preferred.
Strong marketing and sales skills, excellent negotiation and presentation skills, interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be inventive and resourceful, have strong sales and marketing skills and have a good technical background.
Target-oriented, a team player, systematic, enthusiastic, and ambitious.
Must be computer literate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Requires approximately 75% of time or less travelling by plane, trains, and automobiles.
Lifting maximum of 50 lbs.

Physical ability to work on or around marine vessels may be required.
Ability to work at various heights.
