Company Description Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Leads the sourcing process for new programs Selection, qualification, and monitoring of suppliers and processes.
Purchases material for prototype and serial production.
Evaluates supplier capabilities and processes.
Performs target costing activities and total landed cost analysis.
Supports APQP supplier activities.
Works closely with regional and global commodity Purchasing teams to establish a global supplier network for new programs.
Utilizes purchasing processes and procedures for sourcing new programs EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
) from four-year College or University; or three to five years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Their experience should be gained in areas of technical purchasing or advanced purchasing.
Experience with global sourcing activities, new supplier sourcing, new supplier launch, and experience with contract negotiations required.
Masters degree and international travel experience preferred Automotive Background; OEM; Program Management; Purchasing experience including:
