Oversees the Nursing House Supervisors and Nursing Flex Staff and works closely with the Central Staffing office to assure 24 hour/7day week hospital staffing needs meet standards of excellence (Magnet direct care staffing standards). Oversees patient flow services, working closely with hospital leadership to meet LOS and throughput standards. Works with the Business Manager and the AVP of Clinical Nursing to plan strategic needs for the Flex Staff team. Collaborates with nursing leadership participating in PI of hospital wide continuum of care needs of patients to assure quality, safety and patient & family care standards are met. This position supervises Nursing House Supervisors, Flex Nursing Staff, and Patient Flow Coordinators and oversees patient through put initiatives. Participates as member of nursing leadership team and key member of TJC readiness and Magnet planning team.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
