Our Client is seeking an Import Compliance Analyst position in Miami, FL. Responsible for the continual development and maintenance of import compliance processes relating to Import Brokerage. Knowledge and understanding of 19CFR, Penalties and Forfeitures, and other customs-compliance related duties as assigned. Responsible for Brokerage KPI reporting under the direction of CSG Import Management Principal Accountabilities.
Resolve operational issues, coordinate with field personnel to effectuate timely processing of import
shipments.
Oversee and maintain corporate and local CBP permit fees, CBP notifications, Triennial Status
Reports, etc.
Create and maintain updates to entry-related user training and various work instructions as needed
Inform and train users regarding ABI and/or CBP changes and/or new requirements set forth by
U.S. Customs & Border Protection
Measure and monitor field office performance to CBP and corporate compliance standards
Research and assist in the continual resolution of financial issues as they relate to branch (and
corporate) profitability
Research compliance issues as directed
Research additional Custom bills and follow-up with field stations
Serve as backup for national POA/account maintenance process and corporate ACH authorization
process as necessary
Maintain procedures for all job functions and department activities
Maintain current email distribution lists for CSG Import, Import Station Management, and Staff
nationwide
Maintain Importer of Record Log recording entry information for all entries processed. Monitor liquidation status of all entries
Monitor station ABI Reject rates and entry filing for a station
Backup for Periodic Monthly Statement client set-up with CBP and client in conjunction with
Management directives
Maintain Boeing New Acct/EDI setups
Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required for Position:
Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills required. B
Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
Generally prefer 3-6 years of import brokerage experience with emphasis on technical knowledge
and use of MS Excel spreadsheet, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Projects, and the Alliance
Brokerage System.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
